That could work, if everybody doesn't write themselves as a Mary Sue.

or could do it like I once saw in the past on an other forum... sort of RP story Everyone has their own character, and RP with that character? Doesn't have to be Your own character but you have to Keep to that character That just reminds me of back in the day at the Moogle Cavern... we used to write lengthy, epic add-on-stories about ourselves (and eachother! We actually trusted eachother with our characters - much like we do to Roger when he writes the IMP stories) all the time... was such fun XD Heck, much of how the H Hog character is written and behaves today (all the way down to his very NAME of "Heros Aeros Hoguera") probably finds its roots in how other people wrote his origins in stories like that, heh. =P Though truth be told I didn't have much of an idea myself on where to go with my character, and since I didn't have much objections I kind of rolled with it XD Shame those stories all "died" together with EZboard, though But then the most memorable that sticks to mind was the MC Crew against the evil Sony Empire.(Yeah... we were kind of bitter about the whole PS2 killing the Dreamcast thing. ^^; )

That could work, if everybody doesn't write themselves as a Mary Sue. Mary Sue war! Well, I suppose IMP is a example of how you tell a story with several Mary Sues together. Just give them all a simplified "thing" to do. The Scientist, The Mousy Nerd, The Boring Leader, The Psychopatic Karate Master.. If everyone inhabits one typical type of character, it's easier to know when which character should step in.

Yeah, I guess for future Story game sessions, we need a few rules, that you have to have some sort of contuity and stay within storyline borders ^^; Everyone keeps knocking the story into a diffrent direction. Indeed. I'd have a possible suggestion; we could decide on a set of game series', and stick to their respective game logic. So no sudden "ghost zombie gorilla attack!" unless those games actually have that. Also, there should be a "goal", or something. Like, "the princess has been kidnapped, we must rescue her", so we'd follow our heroes along their quest. Also, "1 sentence per post" is a little short. Eh, perhaps increase that to 3 or 5 senteces per post or so. For "set of gameseries", I'd suggest the games involved in Smash Bros. Brawl, since there's a wide range of characters from different universes involved already. Admittedly, except for Snake and Sonic all of them are Nintendo characters, so if some Sony / Microsoft / Sega fans here would want to add additional series we should discuss that... Though we'd also have to solve the issue of not everyone knowing all the games involved first. :/ The first post for a Smash Bros Brawl story could go like this: On the other hand, what Hhog's telling here sounds interesting too, but indeed, we'd need to avoid a Mary-Sue overkill. Hm, anybody know a story-type where Super-Mary-Sues don't have any advantage? :? ... Hm... how about this: Everyone writes the story from the perspective of their character, and there's a "mystery" of some kind to solve, which is set up by a "game master" who him/herself is not participating in the story, other than to give out information if someone's actions had a specific effect...? huh... sounds like a "dungeons & dragons" game now ... which I never played before, so err ... I dunno. : / Or... how did that work in the Moogle Cavern forums exactly?

I was actually saying that I want to play Dungeons and Dragons one of these days. I wasn't making a story sentence.
