Had no idea where to put this but here is a mascot that probably just as equally popular as Segata Sanshiro in its own way that would make the CoolAid Man look like a super villain XD

If he had some holes for eyes or something related like Spiderman, I could take him for serious on a little degree... but like THIS ? Good lord. ^^;

PEPSIMAN! Awesomeness.
Anyone played the Pepsiman game too? It's pretty awesome for an advertisement game. Burned it on a cd for my dreamcast (altough it's a psx game)
Too bad the music doesn't work, because Pepsiman's music kicks ass.

Whenever he opens his mouth and hisses for a bit it makes him a bit scary. I'm surprised I've never heard of Pepsiman (And Pepsiwoman) before.

@frobman: Yeah especially his theme song that plays like some overly dramatic hero that comes in on the scene of the crime XD James: How did you think I react? I actually wanted him to keep his freaking mouth closed it was that creepy! XD @roger: Sadly I have not but I have seen a bunch of guys who did a Lets Play of it so I have seen the Pepsijerk who can slide through people's homes and women doing their laundry XD, and yeah the music certainly is great and catchy! Pepsi for Pizza! XD @luke: I think that too about his face XD, you will be surprised what you never hear of till someone on the Internet introduces you to it, I found this out from a bunch of guys who did a Lets Play of a game involving him and being a nerd decided to research more on his adverts =D I never heard of this mascot until recently myself.

I'm still trying to find a japanese PS1 copy of the game, so like Roger, I've mostly played it with Bleem! on my Dreamcast too Pepsiman's super epic~ No doubt about it! He's like a badass version of CoolSpot! (hey, anyone remembers this other drink mascot? he also had a very fun game on the Megadrive/Genesis)

I remember Cool Spot. That was a fun game that's an advertisement in disguise!

There also was another 7-up, a FIDO game planned, but it was scrapped. Though the Megadrive rom is complete and easy to find. (not very good, maybe why they scrapped it in the 1st place...)
CoolSpot even got a sequel! (pretty bad on most systems apart the Saturn where it was slighty redesigned and sort of better)

Oh yeah, I love the music in Cool Spot goes to Hollywood.
You can find and dwonload the PSX Pepsiman ISO on Emuparadise. Altough I don't have a playstation that plays copies. But the PSXeven emulator does play the ISO, and altough the music STILL doesn't work, at least the game works slightly better then on the dreamcast (it's less insane fast and you don't get these white squares) Still, I prefer playing with a controller and on a TV. Just isn't the same on a pc.

Playing downloaded copies...that's easy, that what I can already do with the Bleem! version of Pepsiman on my Dreamcast. No, I was talking about an actual retail release of the japanese original game to play on my Jap. Ps2! You know, for the "collection". (I got some of pics of this "collection" on my blog, not all, not yet, but bunches of it~)

And THIS is why I've always prefered Pepsi to any other soft drink!
It's like Captain Falcon was a drink mascot.

Except a Captain Falcon that can only run, crash into walls and give out free drinks.
On second tought, the real captain Falcon wished he could do amazing things like that.

Does Pepsiman have a punch named after him? no? Captain Falcon wins.
