I don't think it needs much explanation that Halloween is coming up soon. What's everyone's plans? What are ya dressing up as, etc.
I'm probably just gonna hang out with my friends. I usually trick or treat, but I think I'll just eat whatever's left over. I'm gonna be Yellow from the Pokemon Adventures manga series.

I've finally managed to convince mum to put a jack o' lantern in our window this year. I don't know how much more Halloween spirit our house can take!

I'm making a cartoon short to be shown on Halloween hopefully. That's all I'm saying! That, and maybe go to the London Expo that day, if not the day before.

I set up an album on photobucket to act as a photo journal of my costume's work in progress. That plan honestly sounds pretty good, doublesnl. I don't know how many horror films we have at my house though. Maybe I could go out and buy some....some Bela Lugosi maybe....mmmmm...

Halloween doesn't exist here, in Switzerland. :/ I mean, sure, supermarkets, stores and malls try to bring it here, commercially speaking, but nobody cares (and we actually have a day, on December 11, "L'Escalade", where people dress up and stuff, so no one cares about Halloween which seems like a pointless pre-"Escalade" thing...)

It's a similar thing in the Netherlands, actually... basically the premise of Halloween is split up in two different festivities here... there's Carnaval (40 days before Easter) to dress up like a looney, and there's St. Martin's Day (November 11th) to run around begging for candy. So the point of Halloween is kind of moot around these parts, even though in recent years (within the last decade or so) it's started gaining popularity here, probably due to many halloween-themed media coming over from the 'states and people wondering why we never tried celebrating it here. That, or marketing people deciding it doesn't hurt to have another festivity for people to spend money on.

Exactly!
I guess I'm like the only one thinking about Halloween currently, in over a 100 miles radius here~
At least I'll have my horror/monster movie marathon~
