Huh. Already I made another topic in such a short time. Guess I just want people to keep on talking.
Now what's the reason for this topic other than to brag? Well, there's also curiosity. Especially since I've been buying more and more CDs as of late, especially importing the harder to get ones, which are mostly stuff for games and cartoons. Trying to cut down on downloads and support our friends the music makers (I mean, after all, if I'm going to be in the biz, I'd rather people bought my stuff to support poor ol' me!)
So what have I own myself? Any favourite tracks on them? Let's see:
Guess I should talk about the first CD I bought, Transformers the Movie (1896)! It was a very lucky find, I should tell you that! Even if G1 Transformers was a very low budget, 30 minute toy commercial, it was still awesome! Especially the movie! How can you deny the awesomeness that is Stan Bush and his top tune: The Touch?!

Then there's my first imports! Two of them were Dragon Ball Z "The Legend of Dragon World" and "BGM Collection"! These are must haves for DBZ fans. Though they aren't the definitive song collection (They didn't have Bardock's theme in them...), it's still a big consideration even if you're low on cash. Also, when majority of the songs are sung by Hironobu Kageyama of JAM Project, you can't go wrong with that! While "CHA-LA HEAD-CHA-LA" is a classic, I think I favourite tune should be the ending to the 12th Movie "Saikyo no Fusion"

The other bundled import shouldn't be a surprise for most of you. Twas Kinnikuman "Greatest CD-Box". Had all of the vocal songs from the original Kinnikuman series, as well as some tunes from the Ramenman and Kinnikuman Nisei (Ultimate Muscle) series. While they're mostly character theme songs, they're all amusing by being sung in the style based on the character's nationality (Robin Mask gets a Beatles styled tune, while Buffaloman has a Spanish tone to his, being my favourite song) A worthy purchase fan purchase.

There's one CD I HAD to buy when I saw it. You all know who's it by~!

Did any of you in Europe bothered to use those Nintendo Stars on anything? I sure always did. And one of those was getting the Super Mario Galaxy CD soundtrack from the Nintedo Club
(the one with the least music in it). I don't think I'd have to tell you all how great the music in that game was!

After I had recalled my love of the Rocky Movies and Sylverster Stallone movies, I decided to buy the whole DVD boxset for all 6 Rocky movies. And while I was at it, also got "Rocky Balboa - The Best of Rocky", since there has been great music from the Rocky Movies. (this one didn't have much of the music from Vince DiCola, who also did the already mentioned Transformers movie soundtrack)

One purchase I did make was of a CD full of new recordings of Cult TV shows, which was pretty neat. From Bonanza to The Addams Family to even Doctor Who, it appealed to the person in me that likes TV theme tunes! You'll find this kinda stuff in stores if you looked.

Now this particular CD took me a looooooong time to look for, and the search was worth it! "Imaginarium" by Terry Scott Taylor features the most funky and bizarre songs from the Neverhood series by Doug TenNapel of Earthworm Jim fame. That game I'll tell ya ranks waaaaaaay up high in my top favourite list of games! The game, the characters, the humour, the puzzles, the claymation, the music... all beautiful~!

And lately, I've been making more imports. The first of which was a Mega Man 20th Anniversary CD, with Rock Renditions to popular tunes from Mega Man 1-6. If you already liked the game music, you'll like them when they're rockin'!

After the last Summer of Sonic event and seeing Crush 40 live (I still got to shake Jun Senoue's hand and gave both of them drawings~) what I did next was logical: Order the latest Crush 40 CD! Though I'm not that big in Sonic as I used to, thanks to fanboys, there's no denying that the music are awesome!

And that's what I pretty much got on me so far. And I still have more to come. Just songs based on Go Nagai series, namely Devilman, Mazinger Z, Cutey Honey, and all that. But I also bought two separate CDs, each containing remade songs from Mazinger Z and Getter Robo each (in that some of them are sung by Hironobu Kageyama and resung by Ichiro Mizuki, who both are among my favourite Japanese singers). It all should be worthwhile!

Boy, another long winded topic that was suppose to stay short. Guess I just always have a lot to say for stuff that just interests me (but then again, who doesn't do that?)
Now onto you!
