www.telltalegames.com/bttfThis is heavy, Doc! On a related note, I did buy a die cast Delorian toy yesterday, before watching The Angry Video Game Nerd's video of the video games of the series. And it wasn't heavy at all!

I still want to see a screenshot... I'm not 100% Telltale still is the best for BTTF... they're quite popular nowadays, but not the best "adventure games" studio out there cuttently... (there games tend to be quite simple, both visually and puzzle-wise)

I got a lil die cast Delorean too. I'm just amazed at how the artwork looks like they're from a Monkey Island game. I'm also wondering if this is set within or outside the movies.

From the few they said, it will like an "alternate Timeline" or something.. Still "canon" with the movies, but with parallel/different events.. I guess we'll be playin' with time! And the charadesign still is Monkey Island-ysh, 'cause it's the same chara designer as the previous Sam & Max games and Monkey Island 5!

Well, I guess Telltale will at least stick to the old feeling of BTTF. I still be THANKFUL to Robert Zemeckis for destroying the DeLorean in the last movie. No shitty sequels, yessss~

It could have been worse... Shitty sequels with the TimeTrain! Wooah!
(though the BTTF cartoon was pretty fun in his own right)

What fun that cartoon was. Granted I haven't seen it in years, but still liked to watch it since.

Because you almost asked for it:
If this was the chara design of Telltale game, I wouldn't mind.^^

Oh, I'm curious for this game too. Problem with Telltale is that they're very limited in the amount of locations you get, usually just 5 or 6 rooms per game.
Kinda limited for a adventure about epic time traveling.

Maybe they'll give you "5 or 6 rooms" ... but at different time-periods? ^^; Totally waiting for that game at the edge of my seat! Alternate timeline, you (Eyz) say? Ah, interesting! So I guess the objective of the game is to restore the timeline to it's proper state, so that the movie's plot can take place.

I guess that would be it. Like the game starts in a familiar place/scene, then Marty and Doc go through time in the 1st-2nd episodes, exploring and all, all hell wreck havoc in ~3, and finally 4-5 trying to correct everything (with twist cliffhangers and all) and at the end, same situation as the end of the 3rd movie. Nothing happened. (but Marty aged one more year again~ Ha!)

And the time traveling steamtrain get's wrecked and replaced by a time traveling horse with carriage.

nah, they tried that in Back To The Future 3, didn't work, horses can't reach 88 miles per hour. Eyz; oh, it's a multi-parter then? like "tales of monkey island"?
