I think everybody used to have a time where they'd watch a movie, but sometimes used to frighten them. There are so many, let me tell you, when I was little. For instance, films like Watership Down had some frightening scenes, if I recall, the one scene that used to scare me was the scene in the burrow where nobody could escape. Then again, it was so bloody full of gauging and fights. But I loved it, just a frightening film.
So
any scenes or films that used to scare you?

The "Night On Bald Mountain" segment in Walt Disney's Fantasia used to terrify me, could never finish the tape at all when I was a little girl. I used to come in the room after "Cherny" finally surrenders to the crack of dawn and the bells started ringing.
But my god, did he scare the hell out of me? Pfft, Disney was good at scaring kids LOL

Movies that would jumped out at you with screams and pop ups tend to put me off when i was young. Its hard to just remember one specifically.

I always got squeamish at the shoe-dipping scene in "Who Framed Roger Rabbit". For the longest time I just couldn't bare to hear the dying squeaks of a cartoon shoe and ran out the room when Judge Doom put on the rubber glove.

When I was a kid and saw trailers for 'The Mask'. I found him to be pretty scary. Like some kind of Boogerman or something. Maybe the image of a guy with a green head looks scary to me. But after seeing the cartoon series i no longer found him to be frightening and managed to see the film some years later. Funnily enough he was depicted as a scary person in the Dark Horse comics I think.
