You do know how costly it can be to import games, right? You'd pretty much buy a game at 150% or more of the price depending on it's original price, shipping and taxes. Plus, most of us would rather understand what's being said.

In that case, best to research first, then maybe buy later.

Yeah but watching someone else play the entire game so you don't have to sounds allot like piracy to me.

Yeah but watching someone else play the entire game so you don't have to sounds allot like piracy to me. Good point. That's also why I was arrested for stealing food, after I watched my friend try the new burger at mc donald's and asking him how it tasted.

I don't think they speficially want to know the plot, more how the game plays, which is hard to say.
Layon is like a point and click adventure, only everytime you talk to someone or collect and item, you have to solve a mathsproblem or sliding puzzle first.
So just imagine going trough a vacation puzzle book, and getting rewarded with a little animated clip or piece of dialogue for every 10 puzzles or so.
Anyway, that's how the first game is, I only played the first.

The gameplay will probably end up like a very simple point & click, with the type of narration/story construction of Ace Attorney since he's the more popular/best selling of the bunch~

I thougt Professor Layton was more popular, after all he has his own movie.

Layton's very popular here in the UK, and Ace Attorney has more popularity in the US. It'll just be puzzle solving with contradictions placed in them, as far as we know.

Its an interesting but odd concept considering they are different in art style and gameplay, they could for all we know merge their two different gameplay together like have you investigating areas and talking to people having to keep in mind what you hear and see in your evidence you collect but some of your evidence may end up becoming puzzles on closer inspection sorta thing. Well other then theorising we will just have to wait and see what the two worlds can make from these two different genres of game series.
